BAG IT: PRIMARK PONCHO

Kate Moss spent her hen do at the Isle of Wight festival and whilst she managed to keep most of the paps at bay there were one or two images of her that got leaked. One of those was of her wearing an Aztec poncho and the poncho in question was in fact from Primarni Primark - SHOCK, HORROR!!

Yes the queen of designer was seen sporting an £18 Primark Poncho. If you fancy nabbing one get down there fast, it is festival season after all!

VAUXHALL CAR BOOTY....

Fancy owning a piece of art by Damien Hirst, Pam Hogg or Tracey Emin but don't have the funds? Well you could be in luck this weekend. Head along to the Vauxhall Art Car Boot Sale and you'll find a host of artists and celebs selling off a selection of their goodies.

Not only is there plenty of things to buy, there is also lots to feast your mouths on from Ox-heart Buns, St John’s Bread and Wine and the Southampton Arms. Entertainment comes from the Bethnal Green Working Men’s Club, and there are plenty of artistic activities to get involved in.

BOBBINS BICYCLES....

A big shout out to Bobbins Bicycles who have recently opened a new store - just around the corner from the old one - which specializes in the uber cool Globe bikes. The bikes are imported from California and start from £400. LondONtheInside own a couple of these bikes, sorry we did own a couple of these bikes until this one pictured was stolen from our HQ.

Still a baby at just three weeks old, we were totally gutted when it was taken! With dark blue frame, brown leather seat and metal crate basket, this bike was the snizzle! There are only four of these bikes in London so if you do come across someone selling one or know where it is please let us know..... (RE$$ARD)

Anyway back to the main point Bobbins Bicycles have been amazing - the most helpful shop ever! Not only have they lent us a pretty sweet replacement bike and lock until our bike gets sorted but they have managed to get hold of a new bike pretty fast too. Talk about going that step further!

HAIR REVIEW : BROOKS & BROOKS

Parked right in the middle of Sicilian Avenue in Holburn you will find the bespoke hair boutique of Brooks and Brooks. LondOnTheInside were invited for a cut and style to check out the three times winners of the “London Hairdresser of the Year” award. The kit out is nice and bright with lots of light, after a warm greeting from the desk I was given a cuppa and consultation . With lots of hair playing, pulling and plumping we got some great advice on what would be best for our hair type, length and shape of our face.

A quick wash put us in a relaxed state so much so, we could have drifted off. Snip, Snip, Snip and the results were ace, we sometimes find it hard to put trust in the people who may destroy our mops but the outcome couldn’t have been any better. Cuts start from around £50 and go up to £165, you’re well looked after and the results speak for themselves, just check out their gallery online.

NELLY DUFF....

We have a lot of East London love for Nelly Duff the shop & gallery located on Columbia Road. The shop knocks out limited edition uber cool screen and digital prints which are as trendy as the kids who paint them/buy them/look at them.

Some of the prints are based on graffiti from around East London whilst others are weird and wonderful pieces of art.

LondONtheInside purchased the "zevra white" by aida (pictured) number 58 of 75 to be precise. Each print comes with a certification of ownership and frames are charged extra.

We've also got our eye on a couple of the chris bourke prints but if you want something a little more whacky check out 'nelly', she's a classy bird and will set you back nearly £2k.
